Sunshine Class

   The Sunshine Class was started in 2012 and is a program offered at the Rockingham County Fair in August at the beginning of the Open Boer Goat Show. It is offered to rockingham county students and is geared after the Challenge Program in Baseball. A child that is limited in his or her mobility, hearing, sight, ect... is paired up with a 4H member and their trained goat and are assisted during the Sunshine class while showing the goat. Participants met an hour before the show to meet their goat and handlier and to learn a little about showing a goat. Lots of pictures were taken  and there were lots of smiling faces.
